Nadeje Sylvester M.D.

Dr. Sylvester is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and completed her undergraduate education at George Washington University, Washington, D.C., where she developed an interest in genetics. Upon completion of undergraduate studies, she participated in molecular genetic research of complex diseases at the National Human Genome Research Center at Howard University, Washington, D.C.

Dr. Sylvester has published research related to ancestry in Human Genetics, 2005 and the American Journal of Physical Anthropology, 2001.

Dr. Sylvester attended the Howard University College of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke's - Roosevelt Hospital, New York.

Dr. Sylvester has joined Concorde Medical Group as the Hospitalist for the practice. She takes care of Concorde Medical Group patients when they are hospitalized at New York University Hospital Center. She also has a faculty appointment at the NYU School of Medicine, and serves as a Firm Leader. As Firm Leader, she acts as a liaison between the House Staff and the private physicians at NYU Hospital. She also conducts teaching rounds for the House Staff, as well as team rounds that include the House Staff, as well as a Nurse Practitioner and a Case Manager. Her appointment at NYU Hospital has allowed her to further pursue her professional and academic goals.
